Welcome to the new website for the Blissfield DDA/Main Street Program.  We hope that as you explore the site, you get a better idea as to what our community, and program have to offer.  Additionally, we hope that you check out the different sections of our site as it includes information on our events, incentives that we offer business owners and much much more.  Also, we have integrated the site with social media such as facebook and twitter.  This, we believe, gives our visitors a chance to obtain up-to-date information on what is going on in our downtown.  

Our history is very brief as an organization as we were founded on June 23, 2010, when Jennifer Granholm, then-Governor of the State of Michigan, recognized the Village of Blissfield as a Michigan Main Street community.  However, in that short time, program volunteers have put in over 1,000 hours of their own time to see that the program is successful.  These hours have produced several different events and projects aimed at improving downtown Blissfield.  Our goal is to use this website to tell our "story" of a vibrant, active downtown.

In order to give you a better understanding of our program, we have created a commercial.  We invite you to watch the commercial and gain a better understanding of our approach to bettering downtown Blissfield.
