Façade Grants

The Blissfield DDA/Main Street Program offers a local façade grant program for commercial buildings located within its DDA district. This program provides up to 50% in matching funds for façade work done to buildings up to $15,000 over a three year timeframe, with $5,000 granted to the property owner each year. To obtain a copy of the grant application for buildings within the Main Street Area and Downtown Development Authority District, click here.  Façade projects within both the Main Street Area and Downtown Development Authority District are subject to a historic presevation rubric ensuring that historic preservation principles are followed in the two districts. Applications for buildings located in the Downtown Development Authority District only are availabing by clicking here.  Façade Grant applications must be received at the Blissfield DDA/Main Street Program office by March 1st to be considered for the current year's round of façade grants.
