Join us in downtown Blissfield on Friday, December 9th, for our first annual Wassail Festival Presented by the Blissfield Rotary Club. The event will start at 5 pm and end at 9 pm.
Now, you’re probably wondering, what is wassail? Wassail is a mulled cider made out of a base of fruit punch, wine, cinnamon, and other spices. Once mixed, the wassail is then heated to mull the cider for serving. The exclusive provider of wine for the festival is Blissfield-based, J. Trees Cellars.
In order to participate, you will need to buy a Wassail Festival Cup from the Welcome Tent in the middle of downtown Blissfield. Each Wassail Festival Cup is $5. Please hang on to your cup and use it at all locations as you will be charged for any additional cups you ask for.
Also, there are seven different Wassail Stops throughout the weekend, with a total of ten wassails being served. The following is a list of Wassail Stops in downtown Blissfield.

As you make your rounds around downtown Blissfield, we’ll ask you to rate your wassail samples from 1 – 10 with 10 being the best. At the end of the night we will tally up those results and present a Wassail Festival Trophy to the business or organization that has created the best wassail.
The results of the best wassail will be announced at 9:30 pm at B-Town Bar & Grill as part of the Blissfield Rotary Club’s free gas for a year raffle.
Special thanks to our WONDERFUL partner for our first annual Wassail Fest!
